It's all about finding balance.
Mental discipline is just as important. This means challenging negative self-talk, practicing self-compassion and gratitude, and setting healthy boundaries with technology and social media. It means making time for activities that bring me joy and help me unwind, like reading, painting or just hanging out with my family.
Spiritual discipline involves connecting with my higher self and the world around me. This means spending time in nature, meditating, practicing mindful breathing, and taking moments throughout the day to pause, reflect and express gratitude.
Of course, discipline isn't always easy. It can be challenging to prioritize our health and wellbeing amidst the chaos of daily life. But for me, the key is treating discipline as an act of self-love, rather than punishment. When I show up for myself and commit to my daily practices, I feel stronger, more energized, and more grounded - and that makes everything else in life feel a little bit easier.

It's easy to get caught up in the disappointment of our closest confidants not meeting our expectations, but it's important to remember that we are only in control of our own actions.
As much as we'd like to, we can't force others to support us in our endeavors. But what we can do is turn our focus inward, and recognize the power within us to create our own success. By focusing on our personal growth and striving towards our dreams, we open up new doors and possibilities for ourselves, rather than relying on the support of others.
Sometimes, the lack of support from those closest to us can come from a place of fear or insecurities within themselves. For some, the success of someone we are close to can feel threatening, as it brings up feelings of inadequacy or competition.
